Meet Amanda

Amanda is a 17 year resident of Puyallup after being raised in a Military family and growing up all across the country. She attended Custer Elementary, and Hudtloff Junior High in the Lakewood area during one of their stationed times in the PNW. Following graduation she worked in various customer service positions including at Outback Steakhouse as a server for seven years, and later as an office manager for a local chiropractic office where she managed all medical billing, trained staff, and fostered relationships across the community.

Amanda later received her A.A. Early Childhood Education and Certificate of Child Development Associates Credential with specialty in Infant/Toddler Development from Rasmussen College in 2018, and her B.S. Early Care and Education from University of Washington, in 2020.

From 2014- 2022, Amanda worked as a Center Director at KinderCare Education in both Puyallup and Federal Way where she was responsible for family and staff engagement, all staff hiring and onboarding, budgetary reconciliation, and Profit and Loss expense reporting.  This experience allowed her to not only utilize her knowledge gained at University of Washington, but also solidified her commitment to the education of our children.
